HELL ENERGY
Probably one of the weirder projects Freddie’s worked on, but when a Hungarian energy drink brand called Hell asks you for a few scripts you have to respond. After writing, storyboarding and animating a TVC for them, when it came to production they decided to take it in house and make it themselves. So the end result isn’t quite what Freddie had in mind. But they used the scripts, characters and story he wrote. It was a shame to miss the production of the project but its a surreal and funny experience to see how someone interprets your work without any direction from yourself. THE CAMPAIGN I WANTED TO MAKE
Hells current line is “gives you power like hell” which doesn’t translate very will. so i tried and ultimately failed to get them to go with a punchy “GO LIKE HELL” instead. it lead me down a path that felt right to me for a brand called HELL, but turns out streakers and bank robbing nuns where a bridge too far for them.
